Cynthia Simons Joins Meals on Wheels Central Texas Community Champions

Cynthia Simons is the Innovative Justice and Program Analysis Reentry Planning Manager for Travis County. She is also the CEO of Transformative Practices Consulting. Her strong sense of community and her values drive her passion for transformative facilitation practices.
Certified in Reentry and Mental Health Peer Support, Cynthia is a relentless advocate for trauma-informed, family-centered solutions. She works to promote dignity, healing, and systemic change.
In her community, Cynthia dedicates time to nonprofits supporting underserved communities. For more than a decade, she has been helping to eliminate food scarcity in the community. Now, Cynthia joins us as a Meals on Wheels Central Texas Community Champion to continue her support for hunger relief.
Cynthia visited Meals on Wheels Central Texas to learn more about the variety of life-enriching programs we provide to help neighbors to age in place with dignity. Cynthia will be using her platforms to advocate for our older Central Texans and their needs!
