Jennifer Sanders is an Evening Anchor at KXAN Austin. She is an Emmy award winner and Edward R. Murrow award winning journalist. Jennifer is passionate about empowering people through visual storytelling.
Along with her journalistic work, Jennifer is passionate about volunteering in her community. As a former professor, Jennifer devotes time to supporting students who wish to enter the journalism field. She also supports community wellness, packing meal kits at Norman-Sims Elementary School and distributing food with her church’s food bank.
Jennifer visited us at Meals on Wheels Central Texas to learn more about the life-enriching programs we offer to support our neighbors. We proudly presented her with a Certificate of Recognition, as she joins the Community Champion initiative to advocate for our homebound neighbors in need.
