It's official! We are counting down the days to Amplify Austin Day, the biggest unified day of giving across Central Texas. Amplify Austin raises support for hundreds of nonprofit organizations throughout the region every single year. Hosted by I Live Here, I Give Here, Amplify Austin has raised $112.7 million for the local community since 2013.
While donations are welcome 365 days a year through AmplifyATX.org, the 24-hour giving event called Amplify Austin Day provides special opportunities for gift matches that amplify the impact donors have in support of their desired nonprofit organization.
This special day of giving brings Austin together and strengthens the fabric of our community!
Giving Starts January 29, 2025
All it takes to participate and make a positive impact in the community is a $5 donation at AmplifyATX.org. Here's how you can support Meals on Wheels Central Texas through the Amplify Austin Campaign.
Early birds are welcome. You can make your gift during the Early Giving period which begins January 29, 2025 or join the community in donating during the 24-hour giving event. Mark your calendars for Amplify Austin Day, which begins at 6:00 PM on March 5 and ends at 6 PM on March 6.

Your Gift Fuels an Ecosystem of Care
Meals on Wheels Central Texas seeks to deliver care that empowers our neighbors by promoting their dignity and independence. Our supportive programs aim to help our neighbors live more comfortably and safely in their homes as they age.
Here's how your gift supports our mission and makes a positive impact in our neighbors' lives:
Expand Food Security
With the support of our dedicated volunteers, we deliver hot, nutritious lunch five times a week to over 3000 neighbors in need. For neighbors needing additional nutrition support, we also provide frozen meals and grocery assistance. Along with our home delivered meals, we provide nourishing meals for our Congregate Center visitors.
Prevent Malnutrition
Many of our neighbors are managing chronic conditions and need nutrition support to continue living at home with dignity and independence. We strive to promote optimal health by serving meals that are whole food based, nutritent dense, and provide an array of phytochemicals. Our medically tailored meals support a variety of dietary needs.
Provide Vital Social Connection
The Power of the Knock is its ability to foster connection between our caring volunteers and our neighbors. With every meal delivery comes a friendly wellness check that makes our neighbors feel connected to their community. Our neighbors look forward to connecting with our volunteers. For many neighbors, this visit is the sole opportunity for social connection they'll have in a day. And for our neighbors who are still active, we provide an array of activities and opportunities to connect at our Congregate Centers.
Enhance Safety and Wellbeing
Adequate nourishment is crucial, but we provide More Than a Meal to keep our neighbors safe and comfortable as they age in place in their homes. From home repairs to in-home care, Meals on Wheels Central Texas strives to meet a variety of our neighbors unique needs to promote all around safety and wellbeing.
