The American Institutes for Research is one of the largest social science research organizations in existence- and its mission is to generate and use rigorous evidence that contributes to a better, more equitable world. Since the COVID-19 pandemic began, experts at the American Institutes for Research – or AIR – have been sharing insights to help communities around the globe manage the coronavirus.
But AIR provides support in other ways as well. A recent gift from the organization is helping MOWCTX deliver food to our homebound clients even as the number of COVID-19 cases in our community continues to rise. Thanks to AIR’s generous support, the seniors we serve continue to receive the nourishment they so desperately need.
“As a mission-focused organization, we know that it is the most vulnerable populations who will feel the biggest impact from recent events. Even as we are concerned with our own health and well-being, it is my hope that—within the guidelines of your local officials—we will all consider how we can ease the burden of those who will struggle the most during this time,” said David Myers, AIR President/CEO.
