Every business day, Meals on Wheels Central Texas delivers essential nourishment and vital wellness checks to over 3,000 homebound adults. As temperatures break record highs this week, our meal delivery volunteers are providing crucial check-ins to our older adult neighbors who often live alone.
“It’s important that there’s some kind of communication (with neighbors) if they’re isolated,” our compassionate volunteer, Courtney Weynand shares.
