Meals on Reels A Volunteer Celebration
You're invited to a special volunteer appreciation night!
We are partnering up with Mobile Loaves and Fishes to say THANK YOU to our most dedicated volunteers by inviting you to enjoy dinner and a movie, on us!
The event will be held Thursday October 6th at Community First! Village. This is a 27-acre community that provides affordable, sustainable housing and a supportive community for the disabled and/or chronically homeless in Central Texas. Alamo Draft House will screen The Sandlot at their outdoor theater, which will be set up on-site.
We will be serving up hamburgers, hotdogs, popcorn and tasty treats - you deserve it! We will also be giving away door prizes from local vendors around town, such as Uchi, Chuy's and Violet Crown, just to name a few. We recommend bringing a folding chair and/or blanket. Street parking available along Hog Eye Road.
Space is limited. Please RVSP and join us for dinner & a movie under the stars. We can't wait to see you there! Click here to register.
There is no need to print out your tickets from Eventbrite. We will sign you in when you get there.

See the Impact of Our Work
We have many open volunteer shifts all over the Austin area.
I Need a Sub for My Route
Substitute Drivers are responsible for delivering meals to homebound clients as a back-up driver when the regular volunteer meal delivery driver is unable to take the route. Much like a substitute teacher, the substitute driver does not have a permanent weekly route, but is called as needed.
