Empty Bowl Project Fills Important Need

Choose to Share the Love with Vulnerable Seniors

For the tenth year running, the Meals on Wheels network is participating in the Subaru Share the Love Event. In the past nine years, Subaru of America has donated over $12 million to Meals on Wheels—that’s the equivalent of more than 1.7 million meals to seniors across the country.

HAND In-Home Care Changes Name and Address

HAND In-Home Care has a new name and a new location. The non-profit, which serves low-income homebound seniors and adults with disabilities who need assistance with activities of daily living, is now Meals on Wheels Central Texas In-Home Care.  The renamed agency has also moved from its old offices on East 2nd Street into Meals on Wheels Central Texas’ Central Kitchen location at 3227 East 5th Street.
