The 25th annual Austin Empty Bowl Project will once again be a largely virtual event. Please visit the online store for this year’s Sam Hurt designed t-shirts and totes and an opportunity to pre-pay for bowls to be picked up drive-through style at the Food Bank on November 21st. You can also make a donation to AEBP and, for each donation, a bowl will be included in food deliveries to clients at the Central Texas Food Bank and Meals on Wheels Central Texas.
Bid in the online silent auction opening November 6 and closing November 20. New this year is a "buy-it-now" option for those of you who want to select your very own empty bowl(s).
The Austin Empty Bowl Project is an effort by Austin area potters to fight hunger. Your donation goes to Meals for Kids, a program of Meals on Wheels Central Texas, and the Kids Cafe, a program of the Central Texas Food Bank.

I Need a Sub for My Route
Substitute Drivers are responsible for delivering meals to homebound clients as a back-up driver when the regular volunteer meal delivery driver is unable to take the route. Much like a substitute teacher, the substitute driver does not have a permanent weekly route, but is called as needed.
