Barkitecture is a custom doghouse design show, contest, silent auction, and fundraiser. The event is hosted by Animal Lovers of Austin, Inc. (a 501(c)3), and is an architectural dog-centric event which showcases prototype doghouses created by Austin architects, interior designers, and builders.
This dog-friendly event is open to all ages. Barkitecture attendees and their dogs can check out and bid on the one-of-a-kind doghouses created, learn about adoption/animal advocacy opportunities in the community, shop local vendor booths, take part in a costume contest, and more. This year Barkitecture will be benefiting Meals on Wheels Central Texas' PALS Program, Austin Pets Alive!, and Lizzy’s Animal Hospice. The event will be held at Jo’s Coffee (1300 S Congress Ave, Austin, TX 78704).

I Need a Sub for My Route
Substitute Drivers are responsible for delivering meals to homebound clients as a back-up driver when the regular volunteer meal delivery driver is unable to take the route. Much like a substitute teacher, the substitute driver does not have a permanent weekly route, but is called as needed.
