Day of Caring 2017
United Way Day of Caring is a community-wide service event that addresses critical needs through meaningful volunteer action. Each year, hundreds of volunteers lend a hand at nonprofits and schools all over Central Texas; doing everything from preparing educational materials for Central Texas students to beautifying community parks.
Join Meals on Wheels Central Texas as we repair the home of the Jowers family. Volunteers will work alongside folks from Team Depot to help paint the exterior of their home, clean up the property, and work on light landscaping. Water and lunch will be provided for volunteers.
Please click here to register as a volunteer. The address of the site will be provided after you register.

I Need a Sub for My Route
Substitute Drivers are responsible for delivering meals to homebound clients as a back-up driver when the regular volunteer meal delivery driver is unable to take the route. Much like a substitute teacher, the substitute driver does not have a permanent weekly route, but is called as needed.
