Giving Tuesday
#GivingTuesday is a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration.
Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving (in the U.S.) and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving. This year Giving Tuesday is held on November 27th.
We are inviting Meals on Wheels Central Texas supporters like you to share your "why" - why you volunteer, why you donate, or why you're an advocate for our mission. We’ll then share your messages with our network and use them throughout Giving Tuesday to promote our special campaign.
MATCHING GIFT OPPORTUNITY
An anonymous donor is matching gifts up to $40,000 for Giving Tuesday. Please help us meet our matching gift goal by donating here.
Download the #MyWhy template by clicking here or on the photo below and encourage others to give to Meals on Wheels Central Texas this Giving Tuesday.

I Need a Sub for My Route
Substitute Drivers are responsible for delivering meals to homebound clients as a back-up driver when the regular volunteer meal delivery driver is unable to take the route. Much like a substitute teacher, the substitute driver does not have a permanent weekly route, but is called as needed.
