The 26th annual Austin Empty Bowl Project will return to an in person event at the Central Texas Food Bank on Sunday, November 20, 2022. Doors open at 11 am. Choose your favorite bowl, hot soup, bread and live music for just $30/person.
Bid in thier online silent auction opening Nov. 6 and closing Nov. 20 at www.32auctions.com/AEBP2022. New this year is a buy-it-now option for those of you who want to select your very own empty bowl(s).
The Austin Empty Bowl Project is an effort by Austin area potters to fight hunger. Always the Sunday before Thanksgiving, this annual event donates all proceeds to Kids Cafe, a program of the Central Texas Food Bank, and Meals for Kids, a program of Meals on Wheels Central Texas. Take the bowl home with you to remind you that others have empty bowls.

I Need a Sub for My Route
Substitute Drivers are responsible for delivering meals to homebound clients as a back-up driver when the regular volunteer meal delivery driver is unable to take the route. Much like a substitute teacher, the substitute driver does not have a permanent weekly route, but is called as needed.
