Our Impact

Meals on Wheels Central Texas is honored to serve our older neighbors and adults living with disabilities in the Greater Austin area. Through our meal programs and other services, we help nearly 5,000 Central Texans live independently so they can age in place in their homes.

To ensure that we are providing the best services and continuously improving them to support those we serve, we evaluate our programs regularly and participate in leading edge research and innovative new interventions. Through academic collaborations we have conducted research to demonstrate our impact on malnutrition, social isolation, and depression. We also work to implement evidence-based programs to keep older adults living independently in their homes.
