Greater Austin Respite Care for Adults and Seniors with Dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease
The health and safety of our clients, volunteers, and staff is always of utmost importance to our agency. Our Mike's Place program will be closed until further notice in response to the spread of COVID-19. We will update our website once we are able to resume programming and accept new volunteers.
Mike’s Place, a respite program for adults and seniors with dementia, Alzheimer’s Disease and other types of memory loss, also serves as a source of support and rest for caregivers.
Our time together provides each individual an opportunity to be social and have fun, while being occupied with stimulating and appropriate activities in a warm, safe, and caring environment. At the same time, caregivers may be ensured a bit of free time to relax.
