There is no shortage of heroes during the COVID-19 pandemic – and our wonderful partners at TRIO generously helped us recognize those selfless individuals through our recent Everyday Hero campaign.
Donors were able to make a gift to MOWCTX in honor of their personal role model, who in turn received a special e-card thanking them for all they do to make our community a better place to live. Then, TRIO, which supports Home-Delivered programs across the nation, made a matching grant that amplified donors giving power.
On behalf of the 5,000 homebound older Central Texans we are honored to serve every year, thank you, TRIO, for being an ever day hero!
